Pastor Chizo Nwaneri – Pastor of CRM Praise Center, New Haven CT.

 

I obtained a Master’s in Political Science with concentration in International Relations in Nigeria before relocating to the United States and I am currently a Nurse Practitioner.

I answered the call of salvation in 1984 after the Holy Spirit convicted me out of self-righteousness. I had believed that because I was born into a Christian family and belonged to a popular denomination, I was a Christian and saved. God used my sister, Dr. Ngozi Ogwo and Pastor Chris Kalunta to minister salvation. I enjoined the then National Catholic Charismatic Students which later became Charismatic Renewal Ministries (CRM) where I was discipled by Dr. Ogwo, Engineer Gerry Ukah and Dr. Cosmas Ilechukwu and was baptized into the fire of the Holy Ghost that blazed and yearned for revival in CRM.

 

My passion has constantly been in missions at all fronts as my heart desire is that all men be saved. I get involved in any and every way I can with missionary work and partner with some missionaries to provide any support possible.

 

I became formally ordained into pastoral office in 2005 with a mandate to plant a branch of CRM in CT and by the grace of God, with the great people God has surrounded me with, we set up and have continued to expand the father’s business in CRM Praise Center CT till date.

 

CRM PRAISE CENTER

Praise Center was inaugurated in 2005 by the General Overseer of CRM alongside other Leaders of CRM North America.

We original started meeting in New Britain but relocated to hotel meeting space in New Haven from where the Lord miraculously gave us our own building where we currently worship.

CRM Praise Center has men, women, children, teenage and youth programs in addition to house fellowship in most cities around the church vicinity.

There is a welfare department that caters to the needs of members, evangelism department that reaches out to the unsaved, anointed worship team that leads the congregation into the very presence of God, a fervent prayer team that prays through victories for members and follow-up/visitation team that ensures proper discipleship of new members. Pastors and Leaders in Praise Center are always available for counseling and prayers.

As a regional coordinator, my focus is to ensure adequate support to all the churches and pastors in the region towards maximum functionality, and to ensure cohesion and brotherhood between all CRM branches in the region
